meet your maker
I am Ashlee Ervin a local Silversmith in San Diego California. Growing up in Washington State my love of nature is what truly sparked my passion for working with natural elements. Crystals and Stones are truly a representation of Mother Nature, the greatest artist there ever was. I started silversmithing January 2018. I took a semester at a community collage and fell head over heals for this medium. I knew right away that I wanted to create things that could be passed down threw generations and last lifetimes. In a world of so much throwaway fashion, I knew I wanted to be different. Old school craftsmanship and working with high quality and strong materials that can be repaired when worn is what I aim to achieve. My name Badland Bohemian came from my love of this land of which we live also invoking a certain wild feminine energy to everyone one who wears these adornments. Jewelry can be like a shield sometimes. To live a bohemian life means to branch away from the norm, to do things different then the masses, and I believe in creating your own path in life and treading lightly on this land. All my jewelry is made by my own two hands in my little jewelry house with fire and lots of love with a modern southwest flare. I hope you will take these pieces to all the beautiful places that life takes you.
